MOTORCYCLE MAINTENANCE - Basics Course
This course is designed to provide students with some basic mechanical information about their motorcycles such as the location of different motorcycle parts and how they function and where to find the basic maintenance tips within the Manufacturer Owner's Manual (MOM). You'll learn how to change your oil and filter, how to check your chain and how to do a pre-ride inspection.
While you may not learn how to replace your transmission or engine this course will provide the basic necessary practical "tools" for you to ensure you have a safe and hopefully, trouble free ride. Some tips are also covered in the course regarding storing your bike for the winter and some general tips on bringing it out of storage after a long winter in the garage....or your living-room!
Students are encouraged to bring their own personal bikes for the second half of the course to learn from and observe each other under the guidance of trained experienced motorcycle instructors.

During motorcycle training season (April to September), this 2-evening course in Edmonton is offered monthly over two evenings: Tuesday & Thursday.
This course is offered monthly at the main ASC training site.
