ADVANCED RIDER Motorcycle Training
The Advanced Rider Course is designed for licensed riders who have ridden more than 1 year or 5000 kilometres. This course allows participants to appreciate the limits of their own motorcycles while improving riding skills. Participants develop skills and strategies to enable them to enjoy motorcycling with confidence for years to come. Training includes classroom and riding sessions in a controlled and safe area.
Advanced Rider - (2 Nights, $199)
The Advanced Rider course covers:
- Collision avoidance techniques
- Urban riding tactics
- Advanced cornering and braking
Rider Requirements:

A valid Driver's Licence is required for Advanced Rider. Students must bring their own motorcycles and have the following riding gear:
- An approved motorcycle helmet (DOT, Snell)
- Full fingered leather gloves
- Sturdy jacket and pants (leather, denim (at a minimum), or specialized riding gear)
- Eye protection (eyeglasses, sunglasses, visor or face shield on helmet)
- Leather boots that cover the ankle bone

During motorcycle training season (April to September), this 2-evening course in Edmonton is offered on two consecutive nights.
